On April 7, 2002, the 13th
anniversary of Nylon’s self-immolation, the memorial cemetery was completed.
Statue of Nylon, the monument “Wing of Freedom”, and the headstone: “Rather
Burnt Out than Rusted Out” were stood to symbolize eternal remembrance, and to
mark the footprints of Taiwan democracy.
